This campaign walked so today’s SSRI baddies and Lexapro Lesbians could run.
Normalizing conversations about mental health has been an uphill battle, so when it came to helping adults with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) identify symptoms and talk to their doctor, we knew we had to take a relatable and humorous approach.
I helped Lighter Blue, a Clio award-winning unbranded online community sponsored by Trintellix, evolve into its next phase of self-deprecating social posts and online videos. Using the campaign’s signature dark, simplistic humor, I created content emphasizing that “feeling blue” can be more than just sadness, ultimately encouraging adults with MDD to speak to their doctors.
